They don't kill the birds for down. The company uses only large cluster hand harvested down without any injury (proven by the veterinary and hygiene institute) to our birds. They do not use poison chemicals for cleaning the down. That is why we can recommend them for people with sensitive skin or allergies. This Down is not a by-product of the food industry.

Hungarian Down the next step down from the Siberian Goose Down, this is also cold Climate down.
Siberian Down (Best)
Siberian Goose Down considered the finest Goose Down available for comforters. Collected from Geese that live in very cold climates, it is the heaviest of all the downs and will last the longest.
Storage:Store the product in a cotton bag that will allow the product to breath. Do not store in a box or plastic bag. Never vacuum save.
